Latin Name: Salvia officinalis

A few words: It is a perennial and evergreen shrub with aromatic and medicinal properties. It blooms once a year, starting in April and ending in late May. It is a plant that grows naturally in our country, as a result of which it is adapted to the dry and hot summer and the wet - cool winters.

Light: Prefers sunny places, but can grow in semi-shady or shady places.

Water: It is quite resistant to drought, so it can be grown even dry, while little irrigation is required when the plant is in its youthful phase.

Temperature: Withstands both low and very high temperatures.

Fertilization: It does not have particularly high fertilization needs but a small addition of organic fertilizers improves plant growth.
