Product description

Latin Name: Thymus Citriodorus

A Few Words: Lemon thyme is an evergreen, perennial, aromatic species with a lateral branch form. It has oval, green leaves that smell like lemon when you rub them in your hand. It makes lilac flowers in summer. It is used in cooking because of the essential oils contained in the leaves and flowers.

Light: Prefers sunny positions, but can also grow in semi-shaded or shady places.

Water: It is quite drought tolerant, so it can be grown even without water, and few irrigations are required when the plant is in its initial stage.

Temperature: It can withstand both low and very high temperatures, but the optimum temperatures range from 16-22℃.

Fertilization: It does not have particularly high lubrication needs, but a small addition of organic fertilizers improves plant growth.

Last Tip - Prompt: It can be planted even in the most infertile soils as long as they are not waterlogged because they cause root rot.
