Product description
Latin name:Cychorium Intybus
A few words: the radicchio is a herbaceous plant with characteristic elongated leaves, broad and fleshy in colour from purple red to deep green. Between the leaves grows a small head the size of a large poretokale, weighing 200-300 g, which is the edible part of the plant.
Light:Radicchio needs sunny planting positions to grow and give good production, as planting it in semi-shade delays its ripening.
Water: during the autumn period, water regularly 2-3 times per week, depending on rainfall.
Temperature: the radicchio loves autumn weather and is resistant to cold.
Fertilization: use organic fertilizer specific for vegetables and green plants.
Last tip:One of the important enemies of radicchio cultivation is the snails that eat the leaves.
Available in small size plants (150 plant tray)
