Product description

Latin name: Parthenocissus quinquefolia

A few words: The vine or parthenocystis the five-leaf clover is a deciduous climbing plant that grows on walls. It has a very fast growth and exceeds ten meters very fast. Its leaves are green, five-lobed and in the autumn months they get an impressive red color, while in summer the vine shows small yellow-white flowers.

Light: Prefers sunny places although it thrives in semi-shady places.

Water: The vineyard has moderate watering requirements. During the hot summer season you will need regular watering to maintain cool green foliage.

Temperature: The vine is extremely resistant to cold, even many degrees below zero.

Fertilization: Potting vines requires the addition of water-soluble fertilizer for green plants, once a month during the spring and summer.

Final tip-prompt: The vine can also be planted on the south or east side of houses and buildings enhancing their bioclimatic design.
