Product description

Latin Name:  Jasminum

A few words:  The large or Chian jasmine climbs very quickly and can reach 4-5 meters in height. It is characterized by a long flowering period and white flowers with a strong aroma. It is an evergreen perennial plant in the warmer regions, while it loses part of its leaves in the colder regions.

Light:   Choose a sunny or semi-shady place for the jasmine, as it needs plenty of sunlight to bloom.

Water:  Jasmine does not have high watering requirements, as it is considered a relatively drought tolerant plant.

Temperature:  It is a plant resistant to heat and drought, however it is sensitive to frost and low temperatures.

Fertilization:  Jasmine has moderate requirements for nutrients and fertilizer. If we have planted the jasmine in a pot, we add during the flowering period, from spring to autumn, liquid fertilizer for flowering plants every 2-3 weeks, avoiding to apply fertilizer during the hot period of August, in hot conditions.

Last Tip - Tip:  To plant jasmine on our balcony, we prefer sheltered places with south or west orientation to reward us with the formation of a large number of flowers.
