Product description

Latin name: Nepenthes Alata aka "Monkey Jars"

A few words: Nepenthes are known as carnivorous plants or monkey jars, they are climbing plants that grow in tropical forests, they can easily grow up to fifteen meters tall in the natural environment. The glossy green leaves grow to a length of 30 cm and have large, hanging pitchers that are usually covered with a lid to prevent them from getting wet. Depending on the species, the pitchers may be yellow-green or mid-green and with splashes or spots of purple or red color. As they thrive easily in the living room of the house especially if you give them a generous watering.

Light: Ideal place for your Monkey jars, it is a place with rich lighting without being hit by direct sunlight.

Water: Nepenthes especially loves the tropical atmosphere - humidity, so it needs its soil to be always fresh, as you can increase the humidity in the leaves in the form of spray.

Temperature: Suitable temperatures for growing Monkey jars are between 16-24 ° C. To keep it outdoors, we take care to protect it from strong cold currents.
