Watering programming from GARDENA with Bluetooth® app (1889-20)
The GARDENA Bluetooth Watering Programmer conveniently configures the automatic irrigation system of your garden with your smartphone or tablet. The watertight device with a sleek, simple design installs directly into the outdoor water faucet. Thanks to Bluetooth®, the programmer can be set within a radius of up to 10 meters, for example from the comfort of your garden deckchair. A smartphone or tablet with iOS or Android serves as a practical remote control. After installation, the GARDENA Bluetooth® app guides you step by step to connect your smartphone to the programmer. Then you can simply let the Scheduling Assistant suggest the ideal watering cycles for your plants or set up to 3 individual programs as you like. Each program consists of different start times and durations and can be repeated on different days of the week. A rain break can be set if required to ensure your garden is not watered unnecessarily during a rainy week. This is good for the plants and saves you water. You can connect the GARDENA soil moisture sensor, which is sold separately. This automatically ensures that irrigation is done as needed and saves water by not performing scheduled watering when the soil is already wet. Three status LEDs on the control panel show the current status of the Bluetooth® connection, watering and the 9V alkaline battery in use. The battery should last for a full year. If you want to water your plants outside of the watering cycle, watering can be started and stopped manually at any time with the push of a button on the device. Thanks to the GARDENA Safe Stop function you have automatic watering under control at all times. If the battery power runs out, the start of the next watering cycle is automatically blocked. This means you are safe in the knowledge that your garden is protected from over watering at all times.

To use the GARDENA Bluetooth® app and the functions of the GARDENA Bluetooth® gardening tool, online registration and creation of a user account with GARDENA or our group of companies, the Husqvarna Group, is required. Username and email address are required to create a GARDENA user account. You just need to follow the instructions that appear in the app during setup. Note: When setting up your GARDENA user account, you can use a username of your choice. You don't have to use your first and last name if you don't want to. The provided email account serves as a verification that you are the authorized person to access the email account.
