Product description
Latin name: Trichodiadema densum
A few words:Trichodiadema densum, although it is not actually a cactus, is characterized as such because of both the shape of its leaves and the white spike-like appendages on their tips.It is a perennial, relatively small growing plant that blooms mainly in late winter, giving an abundance of flowers, which are open throughout the day and close in the evening.
Light: place it in a bright spot, avoiding direct sunlight during the hottest hours of summer days.
Water: they need very good drainage and therefore it is good to use a special substrate for cacti when transplanting. It is advisable to repeat the watering every time the substrate dries. We usually water it very well and then wait for it to dry. You will notice that in winter the water requirements are almost zero.
Temperature:The minimum temperatures that the plant can withstand if it is completely dry is -4°C.To be safe, however, we advise you to keep it above 6-8°C.
Fertilization: fertilize once during the growing season, using half the recommended dosage on the label of a special fertilizer for succulents.
