Peperomia Peperomia caperata "Rosso" in a pot 5.5cm

Latin name:  Peperomia caperata "Rosso"

A small peperomia with striking, textured, deep green leaves and burgundy undersides. A lovely choice for desks, shelves and small green corners.

This peperomia stands out for its lush foliage, pointed leaves with pronounced veins, and the contrast between their green upper surfaces and reddish undersides. Supplied in a 6 cm diameter nursery pot, it can be placed inside a small decorative planter. Its slender, pale flower spikes add a distinctive detail to its appearance.

Care

• Light: Bright, indirect light; protect from strong summer sun.
• Watering: Allow the potting mix to dry partially between waterings. Empty any excess water from the decorative planter.
• Temperature: A warm indoor space, ideally 18–30°C, away from cold draughts and heaters.
• Feeding: Apply half-strength liquid fertiliser every two weeks during the growing season.
• Tip: Check soil moisture before watering rather than following a fixed schedule.
