Product description
Latin name: Aglaonema (Aglaonema sp.)
A few words: Aglaonima is an indoor plant with particularly decorative foliage. It can reach a maximum height of one meter, with a crown diameter of fifty centimeters. It has large, leathery and oval leaves. Its leaves have various colors, from dark green monochrome, combined with burgundy-red splashes. It usually blooms in summer or early autumn with small white or greenish flowers that look like small lilies and grow from the base of the plant.
Light: Thrives in places with abundant diffused sunlight, where it will not receive direct radiation.
Water: The soil should always be kept moist. Do not let it dry. Make sure you don't overwater it as this can encourage root rot. Moderation is key.
Temperature: Aglaonima loves heat and does not want large temperature changes.
Fertilization: During the spring-summer period, it requires monthly doses of fertilizer. Apply liquid fertilizer for green plants.
Last tip: Use good quality soil suitable for houseplants. Transplant it every 1-2 years, depending on its growth. These plants can cause irritation if eaten and the sap is irritating to the skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children and animals and be careful when pruning.
