Latin name:   Pyracantha coccinea

A few words: Thistle is a very impressive evergreen shrub with wide application in gardening. The maximum height of the plant in full growth can reach six meters while its diameter is four meters. It has small, elliptical leaves in dark green and a number of thorns that make it a natural barrier. It blooms in spring with small, white flowers, organized in dense inflorescences. Its rich flowering is followed in autumn by the formation of numerous fruits in dark orange or red color, which are preserved offering an excellent aesthetic image until next spring. 

Light:  Prefers sunny to semi-shady planting locations. 

Water:    Has moderate water requirements.

Temperature: It has excellent resistance to cold.

Fertilization:  No special fertilization scams. Apply release fertilizer from the end of winter.
