Geranium in a pot - Pelargonium Zonale 15 cm in a variety of colors

Latin Name:  Pelargonium zonale

A few words: Geranium is an evergreen plant, it is cultivated both as a potted plant and installed in the soil, it thrives in any type of soil, even in heavy clay soils, as long as the soil has good drainage to remove water. Its size can reach 1.5 meters in height. Its flowers display a wide variety of colors.

Light:  They prefer sunny places, with a south orientation to give us intense flowering, while they can also grow in shady and semi-shady places.

Water: It needs regular watering to give us continuous flowering, especially during the summer months. 

Temperature:   They are highly resistant to high temperatures and drought.

Fertilization: It has low needs for nutrients, however the addition of fertilizer helps significantly in the formation of rich vegetation with many large flowers. 

Last Tip - Tip:  It is important to remove the dried geranium flowers frequently, throughout its flowering period, to help the geranium produce new flowers.
