Product description
Latin Name: Gymnocalysium sp. vaccinated with Hylocereus sp ..
A few words: Succulents and cacti have a wide variety of forms and belong to many families. Only general instructions for their preservation can be given, which more or less coincide between the different species. They are perennial plants both indoors and outdoors, which at some stage of their development, develop impressive flowers.
Light: They require quite high lighting up to their direct exposure to sunlight.
Water: Their substrate differs from other plants as they require light substrates with a high proportion of sand for good drainage. If the drainage agent is provided, watering can be done regularly and the risk of root system rot can be avoided.
Temperature: During the winter period when the temperature drops to low levels, cacti and succulents enter a period of dormancy in which their growth remains constant. When they pass from this stage and the high temperatures prevail, they develop steadily at a slow pace.
Fertilization: Fertilization begins in spring and is completed in autumn. Water-soluble balanced fertilizers accelerate the growth and development of flowers on a monthly basis.
Last Tip - Prompt: During the dormant period, the frequency of irrigation is extended every fortnight, keeping the lighting high. This causes the skin of the plants to shrink until the beginning of spring when the irrigation needs increase and it returns to its normal state.
